I hope you are not saying Brigham Young, didn't teach the mormon god had sex with his daughter Mary, because he did say such a thing!

I knew that the teaching was that the father came down and had sex with Mary to make Jesus,,,,but I never stopped to think that this was actually a case on incest until I was reviewing a Mormon song I was about to post a link here to> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7C-dCdo2jaI (see 2:52 of video)
It goes without saying now....
That the whole Mormon faith seems based around the zipper.....

So the idea originated not among active Mormons, but was originated by only ex-Mormons?

Ok, but then what was the official position of this Brigham Younger at the time?

Keep in mind these old guys were in the drivers seat. They made the rules, and when it came to sex, opportunity was the narrative of doctrine. The temple sealing was the avenue to earthly, and eternal sex. The story of the mormon god Elohim coming to Earth is important to the narrative of sex and doctrine at its core. if the mormon God had to have sex with his daughter then it must be Okay and righteous for little ol jo and Brigham too. After all they will become mormon gods someday, and how wonderful for the dumb blonde bombshell of that day to be sealed to one of the mormon gods in waiting.

http://www.exmormon.org/mormon/mormon385.htmOh the link works, it's just that I still see nothing about God having sex with Mary. Most of the statements in the link were taken out of their context, as AntiMormons almost always do. They were not trying to say that God had sex with Mary, but they were trying to dispel the modern Christian myth at the time that Jesus was the begotten of the Holy Spirit. They tried to ***ert that The Heavenly Father was Christ's only begotten in the Flesh.
If you go back and read the whole quotes they will always still refer to Mary as the Virgin Mary.
This is an old talking point that only made hay when people didn't have access to the whole quote and the history which drove it.
Ironically it is the AntiMormons who still try to keep the details secret.

Okay, here is an easy one. Theway, how were you begotten by your father?

Yes...
OK my turn.
Do you believe that the Son Jesus Christ was begotten by the Father?

So you don't like to answer the question, I understand.
What does the Bible say, it is what I believe.

Do you now understand the futility of answering your question?
Not only did you not see my 'Yes' answer but you guys never reciprocate by answering any questions of mine which would expose your biases.

We know the answer it is in the Holy Bible, why don't you read it...............And again I will ask you, "How were you begotten of your Father?"

The term means "only special"......it does not mean you had sex...
This is shown in the fact that a son can be called the "only begotten son" and yet actually be the 2nd born son.....

You can be a special son, but you are still begotten. you can have two begotten sons, or no begotten sons, but are they natural or not?

this is why Christians say that Christ was "begotten, not made..."
alanmolstad

"begotten" refers to a permanent relationship

Remember the story of Abraham who sacrificed his "only-begotten son" (Heb. 11:17, Gen. 22:2) despite the fact that Isaac had a step-brother Ishmael who was 14 years older than Isaac and was in fact the first-born son of Abraham.

No one makes a child unless you are thinking of a test tub baby.
Jesus was not begotten in a natural manor. He was conceived of the Holy Ghost.
This is again one of Joseph Smith jr. lies, when he said the mormon god came down to earth and in a natural manor did the *** just as your father did the *** to have your mother conceived you.
