2 Thessalonians 1:7-9---King James Version (KJV)
7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

And those who won't be saved are those who do not obey the gospel of Christ.

And this was the very beginning of the Gospel:

Mark 1:1-5---King James Version (KJV)
1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;
2 As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
5 And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins.

Hey, dberrie - what happened? Did they finally stop you from spamming CARM with your neurotic need to oppose salvation by grace through faith? Every day we were treated to new threads on your favorite topic - denying the grace of Christ. So, I see you bought your anti-Christ, anti-grace operation over here. Have you told them yet that you believe Satan is a true and powerful god?

[B]Hey, dberrie - what happened? Did they finally stop you from spamming CARM with your neurotic need to oppose salvation by grace through faith?

No. I don't oppose salvation through faith in Christ, and I am not banned from CARM.

What I do oppose is those who preach a salvation without any acts of obedience to Jesus Christ, as His gospel dictates:

Mark 1:1-5---King James Version (KJV)
1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;
2 As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

5 And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins.

Do you believe one must repent and be baptized for the remission of sins--as the Bible testifies to? Or do you believe the remission of sins is not necessary for salvation?

Acts 22:16---King James Version (KJV)
16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Yes you do, pal. You spammed our CARM forum with your hatred of Christian doctrine, and are doing the same here.

Please don't confuse preaching there are no acts of obedience to Jesus Christ needed for salvation to occur--with Christian doctrine.

Faith alone theology is not found in the Biblical text--and Christ is not the author of it.

Matthew 7:19-21---King James Version (KJV)
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Whenever the faith alone refer to their theology as "Christian"--they are not referring to the Biblical Christianity--but a man-made doctrine:

Matthew 15:8-9---King James Version (KJV)
8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
