What a totally silly argument??? Of course it wasn't normal, why it wasn't even "normal" for Joseph Smith to marry 14 year olds.
That's the hypocracy here. It a clear case of you wanting to compare your best, with our worst...
Yet even your own faulty source admits that marrage at age 13 was not unheard of.
However the link you posted is so biased it is so laughable it borders on comical. It's an AntiMormon source which uses AntiMormon sources that quote other AntiMormons as proof. It is full of fuzzy science and fuzzy math based on evidence that has been debunked years ago. For instance, it uses the fact that 8 people claim to be the children of Joseph Smith as proof Joseph Smith had sex with his plural wives; yet DNA tests have since proved that they were not related in any way to Joseph Smith.
The link you sited is so nonsensical that it even goes as far as to suggest that Joseph Smith's marrage to a girl of 14 (almost 15) would be like someone today marrying a 9 year old.
If you are going to use for comparison your best against our worst.... It might be better if you pick a source which is actually better than our worst.
