Mormons. . .what would YOU do?

If your 18 year old son TOTALLY RENOUNCED joseph smith, mormonism and what it stands for, to leaves it to join a Baptist church? Would you
a) denounce him and shun him?
b) call him an idiot
c) Yell at him a lot
d) what?

ALL OF THAT ASKED to see if it squares with what I saw with my own eyes, heard with my own ears.

I'm not asking 'what is the official church position?'

I am asking what YOU would do.
