    Default The Occult/Spirtistic Side of Mormonism!

    Charles Penrose in Mormon Doctrine: "The temple where the ordinances can be administered for the dead, is a place to hear from the dead. The Priesthood in the flesh, when it is necessary, will receive communications from the priesthood behind the veil {the dead}." In other words, folks, Mormon "priests" can act as mediums. How wonderful!

    Mormon Prophet, Joseph F. Smith, continued to support spiritistic/mediumistic contacts with Mormons:

    "Our father and mothers, brothers, sisters and friends who have p***ed away from this earth, having been faithful...may have a mission given them to visit their relatives and friends upon the earth again, bringing from the divine presence messages of love, of warning, or of reproof and instruction...."

    So, who would be sending "spirits" on missions? Certainly not God who has forbidden contact with the dead. Go figure!

    Joseph Heinerman, a Mormon, has written a book ***led "Spirit World Manifestations, Eternal Testimonies, and Temple Manifestations." This book records account of dead family members and others spirits giving instruction to Mormons, their missionaries and leaders. According to the book, baptism for the dead is often coupled with the reception of guidance and instruction from the dead:

    "The inhabitants of the spirit world have received special permission to visit their mortal descendants and ***ist them and impress upon their minds the primary importance of ***imilating genealogical information and performing vicarious ordinance work in the temples.

    Spirit world manifestations and angelic appearances have played and continue to play a major role in the upbuilding of God's Kingdom {i.e., Mormonism} in these latter days...

    It should be gratifying to Latter-day Saints that those in the spirit world have expressed an intense interest and are increasingly concerned with the activities of God's people upon the earth."

    Another Mormon , Duane S. Crowther, has stated that "good spirits" return to converse with Mormons for the following reasons:

    * give counsel
    * give comfort
    * obtain or give information
    * serve as guardian angels
    * prepare others for death
    * summon mortals into the spirit world
    * es-corting the dying through the veil of death

    Do the Mormons here agree with these spiritistic teachings, especially since Christians and Jews are forbidden to contact the dead? It seems to me that Mormonism is so rooted in the occult, that Mormons really don't see much wrong with it at all!

    Oath formerly taken by Mormons promising not to reveal secret Mormon temple rituals: "Should we do so, we agree to have our breasts cut open and our hearts and vitals torn from our bodies and given to the birds of the air and the beasts of the field."

    Anybody who has been sucked into Mormonism, or is currently attracted to its lies, needs to review the Old Testament warning against becoming involved in the occult. Plus, the sin of witchcraft bars a person from heaven:

    Ezekiel 13:6 (NIV) Their visions are false and their divinations a lie. They say, "The Lord declares," when the Lord has not sent them; yet they expect their words to be fulfilled.

    Gal. 5:20: …19Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, 21envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.…
