Mormon church traces black priesthood ban to Brigham Young

"In the past, the LDS Church has said history isn’t clear on why blacks were banned from its all-male priesthood for more than a century.
Apparently, it now is. The reason, according to a newly released explanation from the Utah-based Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is rooted more in racism than revelation."

The LDS church seems to be turning away from their scriptures they teach were a translation of the the scrolls Smith bought from a traveling peddler and called the Book Of Abraham. The ban began with the twenty sixth verse of the very first chapter of that "translation":

BofA 1:26-27 (Highlighted to show where this racism is really rooted)
Pharaoh, being a righteous man, established his kingdom and judged his people wisely and justly all his days, seeking earnestly to imitate that order established by the fathers in the first generations, in the days of the first patriarchal reign, even in the reign of Adam, and also of Noah, his father, who blessed him with the blessings of the earth, and with the blessings of wisdom, but cursed him as pertaining to the Priesthood.
Now, Pharaoh being of that lineage by which he could not have the right of Priesthood, notwithstanding the Pharaohs would fain claim it from Noah, through Ham, therefore my father was led away by their idolatry

It would seem that today the LDS church would like to rid themselves of Brigham Young. He who taught that our Father and our God and the only God with whom we have to do is Adam.. The prophet that taught a way to love your fellowman was to spill his blood on the ground to atone for his own sins. That wasn't bad enough so now they have used Young's anti Black comments to blame him for the LDS sin of racism. I have shown in this post that racism was of Smith invention as he turned a pagan Egyptian funeral text into a book that today the LDS call scripture..

Now lets think about this.. If Young were so evil as to invent such a evil to fill the doctrine of the Church from 1830 to 1978 he was nothing more than a false teacher and a false prophet.. To include him in the "unbroken" chain or authority of the Lord's one true Church is the same thing the Catholics do in including "Anti-Popes" in their chain of authority.. According to this story in the Tribune Young was hardly worthy to be God finally voice to the Church.. This means since Young forward the LDS church has been in total apostasy.. IHS jim

Interesting. Did he use the right arm to the square technique?
