    Oh, so that's it. A repackaged inability to endure the pure wording. Such as inserting their own "cease to exist".

    There is one p***age back there in Rev 10:6 which stuck with me far too long along those lines, due to the KJV's and other poor translations.

    "And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer" (Rev 10:6)

    Yet used differently by so many OTHER translations as no more "delay", I guess the verdict is still out:

    "And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night," *(Rev 14:11)

    V11 supports the latter "delay" rather than a ceasing.
