The Bible backs what is taught in the Book of Mormon. But concepts taught such as the trinity, faith alone, baptism--well, actually, the posters here argue back and forth among themselves on this one---is not backed by the Bible.

that Jesus is a 'spirit brother of satan' IN THE BIBLE
that the REAL God of the Bible is only one of MANY real gods extant anywhere IN THE BIBLE
that the church JESUS BUILT could EVER FAIL, cease to exist on the earth, or lose its authority to act or speak for God
that there could EVER BE a COMPLETE apostasy of Christ's church
that ANYONE other than Jesus Himself and Melchizedek himself are members of the Melchizedek Priesthood
that ANY CHRISTIAN was EVER baptized for someone other than for himself
that ANY ONE MAN other than JESUS HIMSELF would be head of CHRIST'S church on earth
that ANY of God's Word, the Bible, could/would/was EVER LOST.
