Default Why should we CHRISTIANS believe joe smith's fantasies?

Today's mormon doctrines do not match the bom doctrines (the number of gods, the nature of their god [their spirit-brother-of-satan 'jesus] etc are different from the bom's renditions.

    BUT

Why should anyone believe in joe's fairytales? No EVIDENCE of the peoples, places, or events of the bom seem to have ever been found. No sign of any 'nephites,' horses, or iron implements either. NOTHING AT ALL to 'shore up' joey smith's fairytales.

And when people are asked to 'pray' about it? Their 'god' tells SOME that it is TRUE, and he tells others that it is FALSE.

Why believe joey's self-contradictory, not supportable, heretical religion at all?

That's because Spalding's writings were the foundation of the BoM, and he was a Christian. Smith's occult doctrines came from Rigdon (who became a channeler later in life). and through his own occult research and the kabbalah. Smith was a witch, for all practical purposes.
Oath formerly taken by Mormons promising not to reveal secret Mormon temple rituals: "Should we do so, we agree to have our breasts cut open and our hearts and vitals torn from our bodies and given to the birds of the air and the beasts of the field."

CLICK HERE FOR AN EXCELLENT VIDEO discussing the evidences concerning the history and archeology of the Book of Mormon and the facts surrounding the origin and translation of the Book of Abraham.

It also points to the writings of five contemporary authors whose books contained stories which Smith appears to have drawn from to write the Book of Mormon.

It also contrasts evidences for the Bible with those for the Book of Mormon.

It's too bad Mormons are disallowed by their slave masters from watching videos like this that tell the truth about Mormonism.
