    Smile C'est moi!

Hello to everyone. My name is Sophie and I am delighted to be here.

Bit disorientated to be honest .....the 'wallpaper' is the same as another haunt of mine, but the spirit so different!

I love Christ utterly, Christianity not so much at the moment, and look forward to discussion with you all.

Well Soph, glad you can be here. Beware, ASDF is one of those types of Christains that sound orthodox, but when you talk about homosexuality with him, he is of the type that endorses the position that Christians can be in loving homosexual unions. I would say that brands his type of Christianity as the "water and Christianity" of which Lewis describes in "Mere Christianity."

Not everyone appears to be what they say they are.

"Fruit of the Spirit" is a biblical term that sums up the nine (should be?)visible attributes of a true Christian life.
~love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control?

I'm brand new to this forum, but I know about ASDF, and his kind. You really should watch out for him, and 'his type of christianity'. He is reasonable, tolerant, intelligent, genuine, and a pretty decent fellow. Hmmmm.....

    Why'd you stop?

Welcome, GiGi. So glad to have you here.

    I'm all wet, apparently.

What up, sophie! Another all wet Christian here....of course that's probably because I believe in full immersion baptism....as well as marriage for gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender people....and I'm not at ALL what I appear to be......well, except the Brother part, of course!. Glad to see ya!

    We're a mad bunch, aren't we?

Is the migration of all the nice people from CARM now complete? No. We haven't got jimmie yet, have we? (I've been rowing with him recently on Facebook about politics, and we hardly see eye-to-eye on religion, but he's a decent fellow.)
