dberrie's beliefs, which he posts on other forums as well, about Jesus being equal to Satan, and both having a kingdom, is Zoroastrianism.Paul would:
2 Corinthians 4:4---King James Version (KJV)
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Pulpit Commentary
Verse 4. - The god of this world; rather, the god of this age. It is, as Bengel says, "a great and horrible description of the devil." He is not, however, here called a god of the kosmos, but only of the olam hazzeh, the present dispensation of things as it exists among those who refuse to enter that kingdom in which the power of Satan is brought to nought. The melancholy attempt to get rid of Manichean arguments by rendering the verse "in whom God blinded the thoughts of the unbelievers of this world" is set aside by the fact that the terrible description of Satan as "another god" (El acheer) was common among the rabbis.
For me--there seems to be two kingdoms--the kingdom of Light--which has Jesus Christ at it's Head--and the kingdom of darkness--who has satan as it's head. Anyone who is not aware of the power of satan--may very well fall prey to his deceptions.
