"though ....day seven"?.....thats not in the Bible.
Lets just see what is actually in the Bible.
This is what we see or do not see in the text as written in back and white:
Humans are created sometime during the 6th day according to the story.
That's about it...
This also marks the ending of God's creative work and thus could be said to be the start of the 7th day.....
But we also know that the 7th day has no ending in the Genesis story unlike all the other 6 days that have very sharp, clear endings.
So the 7th day has yet to end according to the genesis story.
This shows us that the length of the Genesis so-called 'day"is totally unknown....
thus when we look to the life of Adam all we can find support of is that Adam was created during the 6th day...and dies later during the remaining part of the 6th day or into the (as yet un-ended) 7thday...(It's not all that clear from only the text if Adam dies during the 6th or into the 7th day)
thats really all we can prove with the story...the rest is just a guess.
